Four Sisters, volume 1 of The Picasso Tunings,  is from a Western perspective tonally.  Four Sisters features the introduction of new bowing and plucking techniques as well as the use of alternate tunings that are developed even further on the subsequent three albums. For those unfamiliar with what a Bazantar is, it’s an upright 39 string acoustic bass with 5 main, 4 drone, 29 sympathetic strings and one extended low bass string.
